Obsidian Vault Guideline

參考 Obsidian Vault Template - Kepano 寫一份自己的 Guideline

原則​

  • 簡單、不要動太多腦
  • 先狂寫猛寫，事後再來整理也無妨
  • 透過建立一些簡單的規則保持一致性，例如：

Folder structure​

Categories​

  • 00 Categories
    • 放 Categories 的地方，再用 Obsidian property 索引

  • 10 Card Library
    • 放一般的 note
    • 不要煩惱於資料夾，全部丟在這裡就對了。
    • 以 Categories 和 Tags 分類。如果想不到就先 Other 也無所謂。
  • 11 Papers
      • Obsidian-citation 和 Zotero 產生的 Paper Note
    • 放基於那篇 Paper 的一些細節之類的
  • 12 Saved
    • 不是自己寫的內容
    • 放一些從網路上逛到的網頁或影片或圖片
    • 簡單摘要一下內容
  • 13 Books
  • 14 Research
    • Research 版的 Card Library
    • 放一些研究上的思考之類的

Life​

      • 放一些日記、回顧之類的

Others​

  • 90 Fleeting notes
    • 新建立的 note，隨手寫寫的東西之類的
    • 一段時間就把這裡面的東西整理到 Card Library
  • 999 Archives
    • Not useful but yet want to delete

Style guide​

  • Always use the format YYYY-MM-DD for dates.
    • Use YYYY-MM-DD-HHmm for card id
  • Tags
    • use kebab-case.
    • Consider how you might search for these notes in the future.
    • Use hierarchical structure when necessary
      • e.g., life/log, research/paper
  • Categories
    • Use UpperCamelCase
    • Keep the number of categories limited for simplicity; utilize tags for more detailed classification.
    • Utilize Obsidian's property link feature to create connections between notes and categories.
  • Obsidian-supercharged-links
    • 讓 link 有顏色，比較好區分不同的功能性

Cards​

  • 也就是 note，一個筆記的最小單位，以 markdown 的形式記錄。
  • 每個 card 包含一個概念
  • 臨時建立的筆記就放在 90 Fleeting notes，之後整理至 10 Card Library
  • 不要煩惱於要把 note 放在哪個資料夾，全部都丟在 10 Card Library 就對了，再以 Categories 和 Tags 的方式分類。

Journal​

每日、每週回顧一下今天做了什麼、記錄自己的進步以及有沒有浪費時間之類的。

Daily notes​

  • Title: \D-YYYY-MM-DD-dddd. e.g., D-2023-11-27-Monday
  • Categories: Jorunal
  • Tags: life/log, life/daily-note
  • 每日結束前的回顧，包含每天做什麼的流水帳、今天的進步/反省/挑戰、今日的 Checklist、今日新增的 Note、睡眠 app 的截圖
  • 用 link 的方式記錄一下今天觸碰的 note 以及 Paper 之類的，就能從 backlinks 看到哪天在讀這篇 paper。

Weekly notes​

  • Title: \W-YYYY-MM-ww. e.g., W-2023-11-45
  • Categories: Journal
  • Tags: life/log, life/weekly-note
  • 每週的回顧，在每週的開始計畫這週要幹麻，在結束時回顧一下 Daily note 並反省一下

Review​

  • Title: R-YYYY-MMDD xxxx. e.g., R-2023-0814 最近很忙的反省與工作時間
  • Categories: Journal
  • Tags: life/log, life/review
  • 如果那天有想到什麼想記錄的，就可以額外獨立出來寫一個主題

Public Notes​

Public 的 note 都會透過神奇的小程式（

）轉換成 Docusaurus 的網頁，經過不斷的更新之後目前感覺是滿穩定的。
